Terms of Use Agreement
This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions for participating in the WorkOnward Referral Program. By joining the program, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept these terms, please discontinue use immediately. WorkOnward reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with notice provided via email or platform announcements.
Definitions
- Referrer: An individual or business participating in the program by referring businesses or job seekers to WorkOnward.
- Referred Business: A business entity that signs up on WorkOnward using a referral link shared by the Referrer.
- Referred Candidate: A job seeker who registers on WorkOnward through a referral link and successfully secures employment.
Referral Rewards
- If a Referred Business purchases a Pay-As-You-Go Plan, the Referrer will earn $5 per purchase.
- If a Referred Business purchases a Professional Plan, the Referrer will earn 30% of the subscription price.
- If a Referred Candidate signs up via a job share link and is hired, the Referrer will earn $5.
Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have an active WorkOnward account.
- Comply with all applicable laws and WorkOnward’s terms and policies.
Program Rules
- Incentive Qualification:
- For businesses, incentives are rewarded based on successful plan purchases (Pay-As-You-Go or Professional Subscription).
- For candidates, rewards are earned only when the referred candidate is hired through WorkOnward.
- Disbursement of Rewards:
- Rewards will be credited to the Referrer’s account within 30 days of the qualifying action being completed (purchase or hiring).
- Payments will be made via methods specified by WorkOnward, as shown in your referral dashboard.
- Prohibited Activities:
- Self-referrals or creation of multiple accounts to exploit the program.
- Using misleading, unethical, or spammy practices to gain referrals.
- Violating any applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Non-Transferability:
- Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless explicitly stated by WorkOnward.
Intellectual Property
Referrers may use WorkOnward’s marketing materials provided through the referral program. Unauthorized use of WorkOnward’s intellectual property, including logos and branding, is strictly prohibited.
Termination and Suspension
- Violating this Agreement.
- Engaging in fraudulent, unethical, or prohibited activities.
Liability Disclaimer
WorkOnward provides the referral program on an "as-is" basis and does not guarantee specific earnings or outcomes. Referrers participate at their own risk, and WorkOnward is not liable for any indirect, direct, or incidental damages arising from participation in the program.
Program Modifications
WorkOnward reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program and its terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications.
Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New Jersey.
